Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy<\/b><\/p>\n
The money the Truants have raised from the Cambodia bike ride will help Nordoff Robbins provide an extra\u00a05,546 music therapy sessions<\/b>\u00a0for some of the UK\u2019s most vulnerable children. We work with children who live every day with unimaginable challenges. Our work with disabled, sick, frightened and isolated children gives them an opportunity to express their feelings, build their confidence and reach their full potential.\u00a0 These are all things that can easily be taken for granted, but for the children we support, music is often the only way their voices can be heard. The funds you have all raised will make a huge difference.<\/p>\n

Teenage Cancer Trust<\/b><\/p>\n
\u201cEvery year in the UK over 2,500 young people aged 13-24 face the devastation of a cancer diagnosis and Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting them. The Truants\u2019 donation will provide an incredible\u00a05,546 hours of expert care<\/b>\u00a0– delivered by 47 specialist Nurses and Youth Support Coordinators in 27 Teenage Cancer Trust Units \u2013 giving young cancer patients the best possible support from the moment they are diagnosed and make the worst journey of their lives more bearable\u201d.<\/p>\n
Siobhan Dunn CEO.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n ChildLine<\/b><\/p>\n \u201c This money from the Truants will go towards funding ChildLine, the NSPCC\u2019s 24 hour a day, 7 day a week helpline, and can enable us to recruit and train 69 volunteers.
