Buenos Aires City Tour – 51KM
This morning we head out directly from the hotel as our day starts in the narrow streets of San Telmo, the oldest part of town.
The first stop is at the edge of three neighbourhoods in a beautiful park; here you feel the diversity of the city.
After this, we will ride through the undiscovered and discovered parts of La Boca, a unique and colourful neighbourhood, here we will gaze upon authentic houses that you won’t see in any other part of the city, and some very cool street art.
Next up, Puerto Madero, the newest part in town where we will pay a visit to the beautiful ecological reserve.
This is also where we will enjoy a mouth-watering classical lunch at a typical food truck.
After lunch we ride on towards Plaza de Mayo, where we will experience the main square of the city, with the hustle and bustle of city life.
After seeing these different highlights of Buenos Aires we finish the afternoon heading up to Tigre in the north before looping back to our hotel.

Buenos Aires – Conchillas, Uruguay- 60KM
This morning we head out towards the North of the city to Puerto de Tigre (Tigre’s small port) where we head through immigration and customs to leave Argentina and board our transfer boat to Uruguay.
The journey will take around 3 hours as we cross the Parana River’s Delta arriving in Carmelo, Uruguay.
We disembark and meet our new Uruguayan ground team that will accompany us on this next part of our challenge.
We then get to ride and head out immediately into luscious green surroundings with very little traffic. We will pass through the “Calera de las Huérfanas, originally the main house of the “Estancia del Río de las Vacas an old farm from 1741, administered by the Jesuits, dedicated to the production of lime. A little further on we will arrive at the vineyards and winery Zubizarreta, which together with Irurtia is one of the oldest wineries in Uruguay.
We will visit the vineyards and get to know the winery as well as enjoying a very good “picada”! In the afternoon we continue the ride to Conchillas through rural scenes on easy gravel roads surrounded by planted fields. In Conchillas we will see the English constructions that were established in the late nineteenth century, when the company CH Walker & Co Ltd won the tender for the construction of the new port of Buenos Aires. We then arrive at our overnight stay in Conchillas.

Conchillas – Colonia -58KM
For our third day of riding we head towards Colonia.
The morning begins on small internal roads, then we have a short stretch on route 21 where we will ride as a group with our support team, we then head back onto the gravel road that lead us to the Estancia Cerros de San Juan where we will be greeted with a well-deserved lunch.
After eating we head on our final stretch towards Colonia riding between soft hills and fields whilst having the Río de la Plata always on our right.
We approach the end of our ride as we arrive at Real de San Carlos, the old bullring of colonial times and the hippodrome that had their splendour at the beginning of the 20th century. From here there are just a few kilometres to go until we reach Colonia. This enchanting old town belonged to Spanish and Portuguese and it is beautifully preserved.
On arrival there is time to independently explore the old cobblestone streets, climb to the top of the lighthouse or just wander among old stone walled houses and check out the numerous bars!
